I no longer keep any large hens just 7 bantams of various colours. I would still be prepared to help out on another rescue though. Once my last old girl died i decided not to replace them incase my bantams were bullied.
Road runner was found almost naked running up a main road near salisbury plains! I caught her wrapped her in a blanket and she has lived here ever since! I think she was a battery hen escapee!
My big girls are ex battery hens apart from fanta she is a 2yr old broiler who never made the pot. I raised her and doughnut from day old chicks!
My pekin bantam and barbu quail d'anver live in my guinea shed, they were hand reared and very friendly. They like to go outside only if the sun is shining!
We have also had a trio of Quail and one of the hens was sat on eggs.
Christine has hatched out 4 cute little bantam chicks 3 buff pekins and im not quite sure of this one!

Red with new born baby guinea pigs keeping warm! I had to separate her from mum and babies because she bacame so protective of them!
